Some things we said #2

This project is directed to children aged 0-36 months, but also their carers, since children depend on them for the experience to occur. The project aims to create an experience of togetherness and interaction having artistic languages as promoters. Targeting such an early stage of human development is important because it is during these ages that stimulation is most needed. Our artistic/educative experience, as well as scientific evidence, shows that babies respond to artistic stimuli and relate to live experiences in very expressive manners. Communicative musicality, the root of all later forms of expression, is multimodal and not language-based and therefore particularly adequate as a starting point for the construction of abstract artistic languages, such as music or dance. The community (carers, educators and artists) is also targeted by the project through parallel activities (such as training and seminars) that aim to fulfill the idea of exploring educative repercussions.
